A proud resident of Sullivan County for nearly 30 years, Lori’s journey reflects her deep-rooted values and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of her fellow Tennesseans.
Lori’s commitment to public service is evident through her extensive involvement in local and state politics. Since 2014, she has served as an executive committeewoman for the Tennessee Democratic Party, representing State Senate District 4. Her vast experience includes working on numerous local, state, and national campaigns, where her strategic insights and passion for democracy have consistently driven positive change.
Her professional background is equally impressive. Lori’s tenure in human resources at Fingerhut and as office manager for the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra honed her skills in leadership and community engagement. She played a pivotal role in establishing a nonprofit that provided music programs to local children, demonstrating her dedication to fostering opportunities for youth.
An advocate for local agriculture and sustainable community practices, Lori served as treasurer of the Johnson City Farmers Market and is currently the treasurer of the Blountville Farmers Market. Her work with the Upper East Tennessee Central Labor Council and the Blountville Historical Preservation Association underscores her commitment to workers’ rights, historical preservation, and community welfare.

She is dedicated to addressing key issues like addressing gun violence with sensible gun legislation, ending regional healthcare monopolies, supporting public schools, and supporting workers’ rights through strong union advocacy.
